Can a second coat of HL Sealer/HL Coat be applied for longer protection?
HL Sealer was designed to be a single coat system. More coats may compromise the integrity of the coating. The single layer is stronger and more stable than multiple layers. The best maintenance after a cured coating is applied, is to apply a quality paint sealant or even better our Lens Conditioner with PTFE. Applying a few times a year is the best maintenance for all lenses including factory, replacement and restored lenses. Lens Conditioner provides a temporary layer that will wear away instead of yellowing thus keeping lens coatings new.
