SHADE: Best to restore lenses in the shade. A cool lens will give more time for applying and self-leveling.
MASKING TAPE: Applying masking tape on the surfaces next to the lens will help prevent accidental scuffing with the sandpaper.
CLEAN & DRY: It is important for the lens to be clean and dry for the coating to dry clear. Be sure to dry edges and areas that can hide water.
